These Terms & Conditions explain how our website and personalised products are supplied. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. About Us

Chloe's Classic Crafts is a UK-based creative business specialising in hand-painted, personalised pet artwork and custom fabric designs.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you confirm that:

the information you provide is accurate;
your delivery address is correct;
you are authorised to use the payment method provided;
you have read our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refund Policy.

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

3. Customer Photographs

To create your personalised artwork, you may provide photographs of your pet.

By submitting photographs, you confirm that:

you own the photographs or have permission to use them;
the photographs do not infringe another person's copyright or intellectual property rights;
you grant Chloe's Classic Crafts permission to use those photographs solely for the purpose of creating your commissioned artwork and fulfilling your order.

Ownership of your original photographs always remains with you.

4. Artwork Approval

Where applicable, you will receive a digital proof before production begins.

Please check your proof carefully, including:

your pet(s),
any names or personalised wording,
layout,
colours,
spelling,
overall design.

Production will not begin until your approval has been received.

Once artwork has been approved and production has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

We cannot accept responsibility for errors that were visible on an approved proof.

5. Our Creative Process

Every commission begins as an original hand-painted watercolour artwork.

The artwork is then professionally digitised and prepared for printing to create your finished personalised product.

Because every commission is individually created, each piece is an artistic interpretation based on the photographs you provide.

Small artistic differences form part of the commissioned artwork and are not considered faults.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Chloe's Classic Crafts retains all copyright and intellectual property rights relating to:

original artwork;
illustrations;
digital artwork;
seamless patterns;
repeat designs;
print files;
mock-ups;
product photography;
website content;
branding and logos.

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights or ownership of the underlying artwork or design.

Customers may not reproduce, copy, scan, digitise, modify, commercially manufacture, licence or otherwise exploit our artwork or designs without prior written permission.

7. Ownership of Original Artwork

Unless specifically included as part of your purchase or otherwise agreed in writing, any original hand-painted artwork created during the commission process remains the property of Chloe's Classic Crafts.

Ownership of the original artwork does not automatically transfer with the purchase of a personalised product.

8. Marketing & Portfolio Use

We respect your privacy.

We will only use photographs of completed artwork, finished products or completed fabric designs for our website, portfolio or social media where you have given your consent.

Your personal information will never be published without your permission.

9. Handmade & Printed Products

Our products combine original hand-painted artwork with professional digital production techniques.

Please note:

colours may vary between screens and printed products;
small colour differences between print batches may occur;
fabric texture may influence the appearance of printed colours;
slight variations are a natural part of handmade artwork and professional printing.

These characteristics are not considered defects.

10. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.

Payment is securely processed through Shopify and its approved payment providers.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time before an order is placed.

11. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be carried out by trusted production partners and third-party courier services.

12. Returns & Refunds

Our Returns & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Please refer to that policy for full details regarding cancellations, refunds, replacements and damaged items.

13. Website Use

You agree not to:

use this website for unlawful purposes;
interfere with the security or operation of the website;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
copy or reproduce website content without permission.

14. Availability of Our Website

While we aim to keep our website available at all times, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend or withdraw the website temporarily for maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our control.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chloe's Classic Crafts shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order giving rise to the claim, except where otherwise required by law.
